Kiwifruit in UV Light

Kiwi fruit, (Actinidia deliciosa). The specimen was illuminated with shortwave ultraviolet light (UV) that cannot be detected with the camera used for this image. The tissues in the plant absorbed the UV light and fluoresced in the visible spectrum.
