Trichome on the bud of a Cannabis Plant

These stalked trichomes have glands at the sop that store THC. These trichomes secrete a resin containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active component of cannabis when used as a drug. The width of the ball like structure is 90 um, or about the width of a human hair.
